So far so good you may say but a week before moving we put all our furniture in storage as our next house needed some work before so we needed to find a short term rental and somehow Debbie managed to find us a rental for 3 months taking the stress out of a possibly difficult situation. Which she did as a favour and took no fees from the landlord allowing us to benefit.
With everything in storage Covid-19 was snowballing and panic was setting in, resulting in the pausing of the housing market and all removals were cancelled a week before we were due to move.
Stress levels were through the roof and lawyers were tearing their hair out and we had a chain of 4 people with everyone and all solicitors were losing the plot.
We had to delay completion due to these circumstances and Debbie managed to get all parties and solicitors to agree the extension.
Throughout the whole transaction Debbie was utterly professional and her work rate and ethic were phenomenal. Without doubt the best decision we made was choosing Debbie as none of this would have happened and our sale and purchase would have fallen through. Not only is she a great professional she is an extremely lovely person to deal with. Yes the chain had some disagreements during this time but she was always looking after my best interest and had her eye on the end goal.
